The Appointment
During your private in-studio session with Mana, your posed silhouette is captured using advanced 3D scanning technology. Your scan appears on-screen in real time so you can see it as it happens.
The process is completely safe, non-invasive, and takes only minutes. You'll stand in a comfortable position while the scanner creates a precise digital model of your form — which is then digitally refined and used to produce your sculpture. The technology uses infrared light, similar to that used in baby monitors, and carries no radiation or harmful emissions.
Your body scan never leaves our atelier. It is never shared with third parties or seen by anyone outside our team.
Absolutely. Mana will guide you through pose options if you're unsure, and you can test as many as you like until you find the one that feels right. There is no rush — your appointment is unhurried by design.
We take multiple scans throughout the session, so you'll have the opportunity to view different poses before selecting your final choice. It's your sculpture, and we want it to feel entirely yours.
Not at all. Nudity is never a requirement. Fabric can be as compelling as skin — we have scanned women in lingerie, silk robes, and denim, each draping and revealing the form in its own way. Come as you are, or come with intention. The choice is entirely yours.
Note: jewellery from the neck down will need to be removed for the scan, which you can do in studio or before arriving — whichever you prefer.
Nothing at all — just bring yourself. The studio is warm, private, and has everything you need to make your appointment comfortable and enjoyable. Mana will guide you through everything on the day.
If you have a specific pose, finish, or vision in mind, feel free to bring references — but equally, come with no plan at all. Many of the best sculptures come from the session itself.
Yes - our Virtual Consultation is available for anyone unable to attend in person, whatever the reason. You'll begin with a one-on-one session to discuss material, size and pose, then capture your own photos at home using our guidance and submit them via our secure portal.
A 3D render is then created from these photos rather than a precision 3D scan, offering a beautiful artistic likeness true to your form. Once your 3D render is approved for production, your photos are securely destroyed, and sculpture production begins.
Your Sculpture
Sculptures are available in three heights: 15 cm, 17 cm, and 20 cm. All sizes make for a striking work of art — the choice ultimately comes down to where it will live and what feels right to you.

Lulu Dré began with pregnancy sculptures, and they remain at the heart of what we do. But the studio has expanded to honour all kinds of stories:

Because every sculpture is made entirely in-house — from scan to final finish — the timeline belongs to us, not a third party's schedule. Exact turnaround varies by package:

The Commission — resin: approximately 10 weeks · bronze: approximately 12 weeks

You will be notified as soon as your sculpture is complete.

The choice is yours. Once complete, your sculpture can be collected from the Lulu Dré Atelier studio, or carefully delivered to your preferred address. Delivery is complimentary.
Yes — beautifully presented gift vouchers are available for anyone who wants to give someone they love the experience of commissioning their own sculpture. Please email hello@luludreatelier.com.au to arrange one.

The difference comes down to two things: material cost and the complexity of the process.
Bronze is a precious metal sold by weight, which makes it significantly more expensive than resin as a raw material. Beyond that, bronze sculptures require multiple custom moulds and several stages of production — each handled by hand, with precision. Resin sculptures, while still hand-finished to a high standard, are less labour-intensive to produce.
Both materials are crafted entirely in-house by Mana and her exclusively in-house team in Melbourne. Nothing is outsourced, which means your body scan stays within our walls, and your sculpture is made by people who know your name and your story — at every stage.
