A workshop built for

The Lulu Dré Atelier is a is a dedicated bronze workshop built and operated exclusively for the production of Lulu Dré sculptures — where every piece that passes through began as a scan in the studio.
The grit of the atelier is intentional. This is a working space — marked by the evidence of making. Tools, moulds, patina chemicals, works in progress. It is designed for art to be made.

The method
Ancient techniques.
Uncompromising hands.
Every bronze sculpture produced at Lulu Dré is cast using the lost wax method — an art form that has endured for thousands of years. It is the same process used to cast the great bronze sculptures of antiquity. At Lulu Dré, it is used to cast yours.
The process is labour-intensive by nature and by choice. Each piece passes through multiple stages — moulding, casting, finishing, and patination — every one of them handled entirely in-house by Mana and her dedicated team of artists. No stage is delegated beyond these walls.
The patina is the final act. Ten signature finishes — created by and for Lulu Dré — are applied by hand using traditional patination techniques, building colour through chemical reaction and heat. Like the grain of fine timber, the result is never quite the same twice. Surface variations are not flaws. They are the evidence of making.

The mould
A mould is created from your digital scan, translated
from three-dimensional data into a physical form ready for
casting.

The cast
Molten bronze is poured using the lost wax method — an
ancient technique that preserves the finest detail of your
form in solid metal.

The finish
Each piece is refined, sanded, and inspected by hand —
every surface considered, every detail reviewed before
the patination begins.

The patina
Your chosen finish is applied by hand using traditional
chemical patination — building colour through heat
and reaction, unique to every piece.
In the beginning, it was Mana alone. As demand grew, so did the need for the right people beside her — dedicated artists who work exclusively on Lulu Dré sculptures, to the same exacting standard, under the same roof. The team that exists today is a reflection of that growth, and of a refusal to compromise on quality.

Every artist in this atelier works exclusively on Lulu Dré sculptures. They are not shared with other studios, other clients, or other commissions. Their sole focus is the piece in front of them — and the person it was made for.
Each sculpture demands hours of meticulous work. The team exists because that level of care cannot be delivered alone — and because quality at this standard cannot be outsourced to a foundry that never heard your story.
Before any piece leaves the atelier, it is quality inspected by Mana personally. Only then does it leave these walls.
